We take your stated monthly spend, project it over 12 months, and apply a 12% recoverable factor: the average margin between the first visible price in a store and the lowest price actually achievable by combining legal discounts, active coupons, cashback and shipping. The figure is conservative — in electronics and home appliances the margin usually exceeds 18%.
