Magic Lupa Manifesto

On why nobody is telling you the real price.

Finding the lowest price for a product online should take five seconds. In 2026 it still takes half an hour, and at the end you're still not sure you found it.

The reason is simple: almost everything online that recommends a product takes a commission for doing so. Comparators get paid per click. Influencers get paid per sale. “Best deals” blogs get paid for everything. Search engines blend organic and sponsored results without telling you.

The result is an internet where information about prices is systematically biased toward whoever pays more — not toward what actually costs less.

What we decided not to do

Magic Lupa does not take commissions from any store. We have no affiliate contracts with Amazon, MercadoLibre, Apple, MediaMarkt, or anyone else. If Magic Lupa says an iPhone is cheaper at El Corte Inglés than at Amazon, it's because it is — not because El Corte Inglés pays us more.

This isn't marketing. It's a self-imposed technical constraint. The links we provide go straight to the product — no tag, no redirect, no tracking cookies. You can verify it yourself by opening any result and inspecting the URL.

How we get paid then

The first five searches each day are free. If you need more, you buy a pack: 5 searches for €2.99, or 100 for €16.99. No subscription. No card on file. Searches don't expire for a year.

It's a slower model than the typical comparator. It's voluntary. And it's the only way to ensure the incentives of whoever recommends a product are aligned with yours, not with the store's.

What we do

  • Search verified stores per country — not every store that exists.
  • Stack what actually stacks: active coupons, cashback, shipping, local taxes.
  • One result. Not twenty. No decision passed back to you.
  • If the price is volatile, we say so. If a store is suspect, it doesn't appear.
  • We operate in 29 countries with local currencies and stores, not a copy-paste from the United States.

What we can't promise

We can't promise we'll always be right. Prices move every hour. What we can promise is that when we're wrong, it won't be because someone paid us to be.

Why we publish this

Because we want it to be easy to call us out the day we change. If a year from now Magic Lupa announces it signed an affiliate contract with any store, this page will still be here. Cite it. Email us. Make us look bad.

Meanwhile, you can try Magic Lupa for free, five times a day, no sign-up.
